The Role
You will play a key role in driving Super Unlimited’s growth by finding interesting mobile apps for us to acquire. As our first
Corporate Development Associate, you will interact with founders around the world who have developed and published some
of the leading apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. In addition, you will be involved with every step of the M&A transaction process (sourcing, structuring, and executing acquisitions). You will identify industry trends through conducting research and speaking to experts in the mobile app space. This is a high impact role where you will work closely with Super
Unlimited’s management team and investors.
Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation: Drive the corporate development deal pipeline, including sourcing of new opportunities. Maintain
relationships with senior executives in the industry to inform our M&A strategy and stay up-to-date with the competitive landscape.
Strategy: Build and execute a strategy for our Corporate Development efforts by developing investment theses around the future of mobile applications.
Collaboration: Partner with Super Unlimited’s engineering team to collaborate on post-deal technology integrations.
Deal Execution: Work with Super Unlimited’s management team on deal valuation, negotiation, and due diligence.
What We’re Looking For
Strong preference for a driven and motivated individual with 0-3 years of experience. We are also open to college juniors or seniors who have the time to intern with us during the school year. This candidate ideally has some knowledge of finance and marketing (as well as a passion for emerging technologies and downloading mobile apps). Given the nature of working at a startup, this candidate must be a self-starter with a strong ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
